The Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University, has recently been successful in securing funding from the Welsh Energy Research Centre (WERC). WERC is a collaborative body, formed to encourage closer integration of Welsh energy research and policy. The WERC funding has created three new integrated energy projects - Virtual Village (VIRVIL), Low Energy Design LEDs (LEDLED) and Solar Thermal Absorption Cooling Systems for Domestic scale properties (STACS). As a result the School has openings for new research staff with experience in thermal and/or lighting modelling. Please see our web site for further information:
