    The Institute of Energy and Sustainable Development is undergoing a period of rapid growth, which creates opportunities for committed researchers to advance their career in an independent research centre concerned with the clean and efficient use of energy in the built environment.

    With 23 academic and research staff, 35 PhD students and 140 MSc students, a portfolio of research worth over £4 million, and excellent premises, the Institute provides a stable base and the freedom for ambitious academics to pursue their particular interests.

    We require a highly motivated academic wishing to advance their career in a research driven multi-disciplinary environment and to contribute to the development of our MSc programme. A wide range of different backgrounds will be considered, including: corporate social responsibility, life cycle assessment, multi-criteria decision analysis, environmental psychology, international climate change policies, resource efficiency, cleaner production and emissions trading.

    You will have a proven track record of income generation, supervision and publication which underpins an international research reputation.
