    Welsh School of Architecture

    The Welsh School of Architecture seeks applications for a full time Lecturer position from qualified candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas: environmental design, sustainable architecture, computer modelling, digital media. The successful candidate will be able to integrate technology, and/or digital media into the design curriculum through teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels.

    The Welsh School of Architecture is one of the leading research schools in the UK, with an established international reputation for research in architectural science and sustainable design; history and theory; and professional practice. It is committed to providing excellence in design teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The school offers degrees at the BSc, BArch, MSc, MPhil and PhD levels. We have established programmes in Professional Studies, Environmental Design of Buildings, Urban Design, Theory and Practice of Sustainable Design, and Energy & Environmental Performance Modelling as well as Architectural Design. The School has an excellent working environment, with an energetic, international teaching and research staff. It is located in the heart of Cardiff’s civic centre in one of the most rapidly developing capital cities in Europe.

    Candidates should demonstrate an ability to teach at the undergraduate and postgraduate level as well as a growing research reputation and ability to attract research funding. This position is a full time, permanent appointment.

    Salary: £33465 - £38772 per annum
