    Other business:
    • Re. non-Board members joining Board-meetings, it is decided there should be a shortlist of some names of persons who have contributed in the past (e.g. Andrew Marsh, Andy Wright, Hasim Altan) who should be invited. On principle others can also join upon request.
    • Malcolm informs that he has been asked by Blackwell to consider publishing possibilities that might come from IBPSA-England. He is also thinking of an update of the CIBSE AM11 manual. Malcolm suggests that one issue for the next meeting could be publications, and sourcing funding to support this. Furthermore, Malcolm suggests that we should try to arrange some English sponsors for BS07, since that would bring in some funds.
    • Dejan is working on a James&James book, titled “An Introduction to Complex built Environments”. Dejan invites those on the Board to contribute a chapter. Dejan will email more info to those interested.
    • Pieter mentions that his former supervisor at TU Delft, Rien van der Voorden, is setting up a research project on the topic of “Climate Adaptive Building Skins”. Currently this is being carried forward by some Dutch partners (TU Delft, TU Eindhoven, TNO, ECN) but Pieter is looking at options for an international link, given sufficient interest from England.

    Decisions
    • Options of funding through DGLC to be investigated.
    • DMU event: Malcolm to make final decisions by 8 March 2007.
    • Plymouth/Southwest event: to be promoted.
    • Some advertisement on website by corporate members to be free, for the time being.
    • Membership database and access to Talk to be merged.

    Next meeting
It is suggested that the next meeting should be held at the Sheffield Office of ARUP. Malcolm is to contact Martin Mayfield for a final date. Fallback-options is to link the meeting with the DMU event.
